The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), now to be held on Thursday, 24 April, a day earlier than originally planned.
The Board made the announcement on Saturday in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, calling on candidates to begin printing their examination notification slips.
According to the statement, the adjustment was made to accommodate essential commitments by the Board and its partner agencies.
Preparation
In preparation for the examination, JAMB has urged all prospective candidates to print their notification slips to confirm their exam dates and centres.
According to the Board, the notification slip contains vital information, including the examination date, venue, time, and other essential details needed to successfully sit the exam.
“Early printing of the slip will provide ample time for logistical arrangements to access their assigned centres within the chosen examination towns,’ the statement reads in part.
Mr Fabian noted that candidates would be assigned to centres within their chosen examination towns, assuring them that no one would be placed in a centre outside their selected location.
How to print notification slip
To print the notification slip, candidates are advised to visit www.jamb.gov.ng, click on 2025 UTME Slip Printing, enter their registration number, and select Print Examination Slip.
The Board encouraged candidates to print their slips and familiarise themselves with their examination centres at least one or two days before the exam.
It noted that such preparation would help ensure a smooth experience on the day of the examination.
